Privacy

Realize collects only the data needed to compute your tax position: your Kalshi and Polymarket US trade history (read-only), your account email, and any bracket / prior-year inputs you supply. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with ad networks or data resellers.

We also run product analytics (Amplitude) and error monitoring (Sentry) so we can see where the product breaks, never with your exact dollar figures or individual trades. Our security page lists exactly what those tools receive.

Trade history is encrypted at rest and in transit, and lives in US-based Google Cloud infrastructure. We retain it for as long as you keep the account. Disconnecting a venue deletes the stored API key and the trade history we synced from it. We don’t have a self-serve “delete my account” button yet, until we do, email privacy@realize.tax and we’ll erase your data.
