Novig trade history: what Novig gives you, and what it leaves out.

• Two periods, two sources. Before August 4, 2026, Novig ran a sweepstakes model; earlier trading and payments data is emailed on request. A 2026 year that spans the date has activity in both the historical data email and the trading history statement.
• Portfolio Balance. Wallet Balance + Open Positions + Trade Credits. It counts open positions and promotional credit, so it moves without any trade closing.
• The 1099-MISC figure. Novig’s Help Center describes it as money in and out, not a trading result. What the form covers and when it arrives is on Novig tax forms.

Deposits and withdrawals after August 4, 2026 are not part of the historical data request. Novig’s historical data article sends questions about them to its support team.

Novig’s public data docs describe a daily file with one row per market per day: open interest, volume, OHLC. Its rows describe markets, not accounts, so it cannot stand in for a trading history.

Section 1256(a) marks a contract still open at year end at its fair market value on the last business day. A market’s close in that file is one place such a price can be read. How the mark works is in the Section 1256 60/40 rule.

Can I export my Novig trade history?

Not as a file. As of October 22, 2026, Novig documents no CSV or statement export. Its API lists an account’s fills, transactions, transfers, orders and positions to a management::read key, and its Help Center offers a trading history statement: requested through Live Chat with the period you need; 1 to 2 business days.

How do I get Novig data from before August 4, 2026?
