Robinhood event contract history: where the numbers for a return come from

As of October 25, 2026, Robinhood keeps event contract history in three places: the History tab, the Realized profit & loss view and the annual statement. Robinhood documents no CSV for event contracts, the in-app P&L leaves fees out, and only the statement covers a whole calendar year with fees.

In the app

The History tab and the Realized profit & loss view.

Two in-app views, one per trade and one per period.

Account, History, filtered to Event contracts: every trade, payout and fee, in the app. For totals: Investing, Realized profit & loss, Prediction markets; “this view doesn’t include fees”. The periods offered are 1W, 1M, 3M, YTD, MAX. Each shows settled and closed positions in the period, which may not match the statement because of settlement timing.

None of those periods is a past calendar year: YTD is the current one and MAX is every year together. For a year that has closed, the annual statement is the document that covers exactly January 1 to December 31. Trading happens in the Robinhood mobile app; the web shows prediction markets but cannot trade them.

Why totals differ

How Robinhood figures event contract P&L, and why your total can differ.

Robinhood’s own list of reasons, from its tax and statements article.

Closed early: sale proceeds minus purchase cost. Held to settlement: $1 or $0 a contract, minus purchase cost. Robinhood lists what can move its figure away from your own: fees on opening and closing trades, partial fills, settlement timing, sub-penny pricing and rounding.

Two fee descriptions in two articles

The tax article says: “Robinhood charges $0.01 per contract and exchanges typically charge ~$0.01 per contract”. The event contracts overview gives a different commission: k x p x (1 - p) x c, k = 10% (5% with Gold), rounded up to $0.01, at most $0.01 a contract, effective June 1, 2026. A trade’s actual fee is the one on the statement, under fees and commissions. The formula, worked on a Kalshi contract, is in Kalshi vs Robinhood.

Exports

CSV reports and monthly statements: what Robinhood exports.

Robinhood’s CSV is built for brokerage accounts. Its articles do not list event contracts in it.

Account activity reports cover brokerage and retirement accounts only; futures, crypto and spending activity are not included, and event contracts are not mentioned. Most reports take 2 hours, and may take up to 24 hours. Monthly statements are chosen by account type, available within the first 2 weeks of the following month. Event contracts are offered through Robinhood Derivatives, the firm behind its futures, and futures are the activity the CSV article excludes by name. What each document reports at tax time is in Robinhood tax forms, and how each filing route uses the statement is in Robinhood taxes.

Questions

Robinhood trade data questions.

Can I export my Robinhood event contract history to CSV?

Robinhood documents no CSV for event contracts as of October 25, 2026. Its account activity reports cover brokerage and retirement accounts only; futures, crypto and spending activity are not included, and event contracts are not mentioned. The year in one document is the event contracts annual statement, typically late January or early February: each trade, closing dates, costs, proceeds, fees and commissions, net P&L.

Where do I see Robinhood prediction market P&L?

In the app: Investing, Realized profit & loss, Prediction markets; “this view doesn’t include fees”. It shows settled and closed positions in the period, which may not match the statement because of settlement timing.

Why doesn’t Robinhood’s P&L match my own math?

Robinhood names four causes: fees on opening and closing trades, partial fills, settlement timing, sub-penny pricing and rounding. The in-app view also leaves fees out, while the annual statement includes them.

Can I trade or download Robinhood event contracts on the web?

Trading is in the Robinhood mobile app; the web shows prediction markets but cannot trade them.

Does Realize connect to Robinhood?

No. Realize has no Robinhood connection, so a Robinhood year starts from the annual statement. The filing calculator takes a net result for the year from any venue.
